On February 18th in their own building, the Jayhawks thumped the Red Raiders, 83-50, in Big 12 play. The game lacked a lot of drama, with Kansas up big at halftime, 44-22, and never letting up.

The game came down to a big separation in shooting and rebounding. The Jayhawks, with 56% shooting, were too much for the Red Raiders and their 40% from the floor. Kansas made a huge difference on the glass, 32 rebounds to 21. A big plus for Kansas was its 60% three-point shooting, much better than its 35% average this season.

Some notes on this pairing: The RPI had Kansas as a much better team, #5 to #234. The Jayhawks are playing amazing at home, and the Red Raiders hadn't been playing well and had lost 4 out of their last 5. This caps a regular season sweep, including a 81-46 win earlier this year.

Thomas Robinson put up the most points for the Jayhawks with 16 points in 24 minutes, shooting 60% from the floor.

Robinson also had a game-high five assists to lend a hand in the victory.
