The Jayhawks lit up College Station on February 22nd and beat the Aggies, 66-58.

A few key stats coming into the game: The Kansas RPI ranking was much better than Texas A&M, #6 to #163. The Jayhawks play well on the road, and the Aggies were not playing well and had lost 4 out of 5. The Jayhawks played the Aggies earlier this season, and won that game 64-54.

Kansas gained an advantage by coming out way ahead in offensive rebounding and free throw shooting.

Kansas used its advantage on the boards to generate more second-chance shots with a total of 12 offensive rebounds to their seven. The Jayhawks put more in from the charity stripe, sinking 20 free throws compared to the 10 for the Aggies.

Elijah Johnson put up the most points against the Aggies with 21 on 63% shooting from the floor in 35 minutes. Thomas Robinson was a factor with a game-leading 13 rebounds.
