On February 13th in Manhattan the Jayhawks beat the Wildcats in Big 12 action, 59-53.

A note on this matchup: The Jayhawks have already seen the Wildcats this year, and this win finishes a regular season sweep.

Kansas stood out over Kansas State in three-point shooting and defensive rebounding.

Kansas used defensive rebounds to establish possession of the ball, with an advantage of 27 to 24. Gaining an advantage at the three-point line, Kansas shot 30%, beating 22% by Kansas State.

Tyshawn Taylor led the Jayhawks against the Wildcats with 20 points on 42% shooting in 37 minutes. Taylor also helped the cause by topping everyone with five assists.
