Finally, Anthony Jones from Baylor is StatSheet's Big 12 6th Man of the Week. Samuels had 14.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game, and 3 three pointers per game. The Kansas State senior played well in a victory versus 9th ranked Baylor and a loss to Kansas.
Samuels topped all scoring and rebounding for the Wildcats with 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 59-53 loss to Kansas. He then added 5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in a narrow 57-56 win against Baylor.
This is the first time that Jamar Samuels has been named the StatSheet Big 12 Player of the Week. However, he has received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is Rodney McGruder, a junior from Kansas State. Honorable mention goes to our own Jeff Withey.

Mike Cobbins was on the floor an average of 33 minutes while starting both games for Oklahoma State. He was number one among all Big 12 freshmen in rebounding (7.0 per game), blocked shots (3.0 per game), and shooting (80.0%). In an 83-65 loss to Missouri, Cobbins tallied 12 points and 7 rebounds. Following that in a 90-78 win against Texas, he dialed up 4 blocked shots and 75% shooting.
This is the first StatSheet Big 12 Freshman of the Week honor for Mike Cobbins. The runner-up is Le`Bryan Nash from Oklahoma State. Honorable mention goes to Thomas Gipson from Kansas State.

Anthony Jones, a 6-10 Senior forward, averaged 24 minutes of action over two games for the Bears. In a 79-64 win against Iowa State, Jones added 5 rebounds and 71% shooting. During a 57-56 loss to Kansas State, he racked up 2 points and 3 rebounds.
This is the first time this season that Anthony Jones has won the StatSheet Big 12 6th Man of the Week. Tyler Neal, a sophomore forward from Oklahoma, is the runner up.
